The Integrated Renewal Program, Student (IRP Student) is tasked with delivering a renewed, reliable, and secure student information system as a foundation to support the university’s academic mission. 

 

Delivering solutions to integrate with Workday Student

Workday Student, a cloud-based system, will replace UBC’s Classic SIS as the core student information system. As illustrated in the graphic below, in addition to existing systems, newly created point solutions will integrate with Workday Student to allow for business continuity (as well as future improvements) at UBC.

The Integrated Renewal Program – Student (IRP Student) is the program working to provide UBC with a renewed, reliable, and secure   Student Information System (SIS). With over 86 000 faculty, staff, and students located on two distinct campuses, UBC’s culture is diverse and complex. Large organizational changes - like those needed for the renewed SIS - require a thoughtful and structured approach to planning and implementation.

The Integrated Renewal Program - Student (IRP Student) teams are working full steam ahead - not only focusing on the design of Workday Student and point solutions for Admissions and Learner Financial Support, but also engaging regularly with the UBC community. IRP Student has made noteworthy progress toward this renewal over the past few months.
