The Integrated Renewal Program – Student (IRP Student) is continuing the mission to launch Workday Student at UBC. Launch 1 was successfully completed in October 2023 and Launch 2 is on track to begin February 26, 2024. This blog post contains key dates for related community-facing activities surrounding Launch 2, for example, training*. For more information about the Launch visit the Launch 2 web page.

Workday Student ready for all staff and faculty users – student access coming May 21, 2024!
- As of March 11, all staff and faculty can perform Workday Student tasks based on their individual security roles. This phase will also be when various Ecosystem Applications will be deployed and be accessible by staff and faculty.
- After student registration begins in June 2024, faculty and instructors will use Workday to view class lists for their upcoming course sections for the 2024 - 2025 academic year.
- UBC Students will gain access to Workday Student on May 21, 2024. Students will continue to use SISC for tasks related to the 2024 Winter and 2024 Summer sessions.
- Training for Launch 2 capabilities will continue to be delivered and will follow the academic cycle. Click here to learn more about training.
- Coexistence period continues and while most student data for the 2024 - 2025 academic year will be automatically synchronized with Workday Student, some data, however, will require manual input into both systems until Classic SIS goes offline in the fall of 2024.
