What’s changing? 

  • The graduation application design and format
  • The terminology used in Workday Student to represent graduation, and graduation statuses
  • A new application will be used for convocation management and diploma printing

What’s staying the same? 

  • Workday will still be able to support our students in applying for graduation and checking their application status 
  • Advisors will still be able to review and approve applications in system 

Launch 1 or 2? 

  • Launch 02 (February 2024) - first use in Summer 2024 for November conferrals (COGS only); G+PS and all other programs would use functionality for May 2025 conferrals

Key Term

  • Program Completion: Synonymous with "graduation". This label is used in various contexts in Workday. E.g., graduation application is labelled "Program Completion Application" in Workday
