Welcoming Our New Program Director

August 16, 2018

The Integrated Renewal Program and Executive Sponsors are pleased to announce Chris Mercer as the new Program Director, effective August 20, 2018.

Mr. Mercer has over 35 years of experience working in higher education, including the last twenty years consulting as a program/project director and manager. He has lead over 40 projects during his career at both large public and smaller private post-secondary institutions. His most recent engagement was with the Nevada System of Higher Education where he successfully completed the delayed implementation of Workday human capital management payroll and financials. The Nevada System of Higher Education is comprised of two doctoral-granting universities, a state college, four comprehensive community colleges, and one environmental research institute.

Mr. Mercer holds a BSc, Business Administration from Ferris University, a Master of Public Administration from the University of Hartford, and his Project Management Professional certification. We are delighted to secure his experience and expertise for the Integrated Renewal Program.

The Program and Executive Sponsors would like to extend a special thanks to Stuart Bourhill who has acted in the role of interim director over the last year and half. He has successfully stewarded the Integrated Renewal Program; leading UBC through the procurement stage and the integration of the HR, Finance, and Student streams into a cohesive whole. He has established a strong foundation for the successful implementation and sustainment of the Integrated Renewal Program.
