Workday Student: Supporting faculties and units in transition planning
Workday Student: Supporting faculties and units in transition planning
July 13, 2023Launch 1 of Workday Student, in October of 2023, is fast approaching and it is imperative that our UBC Community takes steps to prepare for the transition.
As part of our Change Management model of support, the Integrated Renewal Program – Student (IRP Student) is working closely with Transition Network (TN) members – representatives from impacted faculties and units - to prepare for the launch of UBC's renewed student information system. Through the development and delivery of materials and engagements, TN representatives (Primary Transition Leads and Local Transition Leads) will work with their Community Engagement Partners (Change Management professionals from IRP Student) to develop Local Transition Plans, which are essentially "road maps" for how each faculty or unit will work through their change to the new system.
The graphic below depicts how the development of Transition Plans is supported through very intentionally created Change Management materials and engagements
