Issue affecting the Teaching App Dashboard in Workday

Temporary removal of the ‘Email Students’ quick link in the Teaching App dashboard.

What is the Issue?

In mid-August 2024, Instructors and Teaching Assistants will gain access to the Student Communications tool. Until then, the ‘Email Students’ quick link will be unavailable and has been removed to prevent any confusion.

Instructors and Teaching Assistants.

Instructors and Teaching Assistants will no longer see the ‘Email Students’ link on the Teaching App dashboard in Workday. 

What is the status?

The ‘Email Students’ quick link will be reinstated in mid-August.

Additional Details

Instructors and Teaching Assistants should continue to use FSC for communicating with students registered in their summer courses.
