Release 1 - Human Resources and Finance Architect Stage

July 27, 2018

Building on the successful completion of the Foundational Data Model in the Plan stage for HR and Finance, the Program is commencing Architect stage with a series of workshops focused on building the Configuration tenant for Release 1 of these two streams. Release 1 will deploy the majority of HR and Finance functionality to replace PeopleSoft Financial Management System (FMS) and Human Resource Management System (HRMS).


Building our Workday Foundation

One of the major deliverables of the Integrated Renewal Program Plan stage is to begin building UBC’s Foundational Data Model (FDM). The FDM establishes the foundation for Workday transaction processing and reporting across HR, Finance, and Student domains. To achieve this milestone, workshops were conducted throughout May and June with key stakeholders and subject matter experts from across both campuses and the Integrated Renewal Program team.
